I just bought a new Lenovo with 8 and sent it back because i hated the OS so bad. Ended up just going with a new Macbook Pro.Comment

Windows 8 is essentially Windows 7 with no start button, and the stupid-ass start page with the tiles instead. I have mine set up to bypass the tiles and go right to the desktop - created shortcuts on the desktop to everything that I use.Comment
